mostly work related
Jul. 2nd, 2008 01:24 amComplicated finances are complicated. I hope I get work at UDS next week.
Alana's home and asleep, meaning no post-work/pre-sleep RuroKen for me. She also brought up the fan, which I'm stupidly resentful of. (Ever since coming back from Japan, I've kind of enjoyed being uncomfortably hot, if that makes any sense.)
May or may not be buying groceries tomorrow (rice, furikake, miso soup supplies, other stuff?). Same for tea and a haircut. And a new remote. But if I do get groceries tomorrow, I shall be going with
hampster_cowboy, which shall make for much fun. (Don't get me started on yesterday. ^_^)
Fourth of July plans probably went kaboom. :-/ But there seems to be a plan B if we need it. (
carve037, make sure to get back to me with those details.
eurohybrid62, remember to let me know ASAP if your situation changes.)
I've gotta figure out a way to get out of work with more than 5 minutes until the last train home that won't involve walking over a mile at 2 am. Having a bike would help.
I have to admit I don't think my co-workers care for me that much, but I've had some bits of actual conversation some of them.
Having mixed feelings about having three straight days of zero work, esp. since I have all three days off because of things that I told my boss were happening but in the end aren't.
( Cut for tame mention of girly-bits: )
