Date: 2004-09-18 05:38 pm (UTC)He's pathetic and I want him gone. He's dowuright dangerous. I had my preferences amongst those vying for the Democratic nomination and Kerry was not among them but when it came down to it, it didn't matter that much. I didn't dislike any of them and knew that any would be better than Shrub.

Date: 2004-09-18 05:48 pm (UTC)Judge Kerry by Kerry's history, policies, and positions; you're certainly judging Bush by Bush's.
Re: This of it this way....
Date: 2004-09-18 05:56 pm (UTC)I'll admit I'm not happy about what Nastassja linked to above. In fact I'm rather dissapointed about it. But honestly from everything I've seen and heard, I have no qualms about voting for Kerry. He's flawed, but who isn't. But he's flawless compared to Shrub.
So far the only thing I've been troubled about with regard to Kerry is the link that started this converstion. Other than that, I'm cool with him. The "flaws" I had issue with are otherwise trivial and have nothing to do with his ability to be President.
This take me back to my original point. Shrub is the worst President of my lifetime (and that includes Nixon) and he's got to go.
Re: This of it this way....
Date: 2004-09-18 05:49 pm (UTC)I've been voting since 1980. I've never missed a Presidential election. I've only voted "for" one Presidential candidate (twice) and that was Bill Clinton. The other votes? They were against the Republican candidate...

Date: 2004-09-18 09:16 pm (UTC)Bush may not be great, but it kinda makes me sick to think that Kerry is the best candidate we have to offer, and though I think Bush has made some mistakes, but he's done some good things, too, and he's doing what he feels is the right thing to do. On the other hand, I don't even think Kerry knows what he's going to do when he's elected. If I thought that the other candidate had an actual platform, or *something*, I would have no problem voting for them. At least we know where Bush stands on any given issue... Kerry seems to be more dangerous to us if he were in power than Bush.
To be honest, I think the Bush-hating is mostly a fad - it's the 'in' thing to do. There are things that all presidents will do to tick us off, and the next one, whoever it is, will be no different.

Date: 2004-09-19 11:26 am (UTC)*hearts you all over* Yes, Wankers they are. =D
Kerry is a wanker
Date: 2004-09-19 07:24 pm (UTC)I'd say ignore him and his refusal to say anything worthwhile except he might be the next president making waffles in the white house.
Good luck this election day. It's a hard election. All candidates are wankers. So which wanker do you choose?
Right in Gandalf. :)

If you ever have a question, I have an answer so feel free to e-mail me or whatnot. A vote for Kerry is ~not~ just a vote against Bush, it's a vote for a better America. I don't think people should select Kerry just because they think "anyone but Bush", they should be informed before they make any kind of a decision.
