And the day was going so well, too...

Fuck.
I assume because of the riot downtown the last bus home never came, stranding me at the Franklin Ave. bus stop. After borrowing another girl's phone I called for a taxi, which I didn't exactly have the money for, but... I figured I could use my check card and put some money in the account in the morning. After hanging up the phone, I went to get my brush and bag which I left in the little "waiting area", and my bag was gone. In it, among other things, was my denshi jisho, my wallet, my check book and check card, and my store key. Had to wake my dad up when I got home to give me money for the cab - he was pretty pissed. On the plus side (?), I forgot my cell phone at work so that's not permanently gone, and I also had my iPod on me so I still have that. Although, frankly... If I were to be given some bone in all of this, I can't say the iPod is the one I'd ask for. Like, I'd at least like my bus pass, or my check card. Or my work key, which I've already had to have replaced once this month. I'm so scared of getting fired over this...
Sent an e-mail to Jim, since although I can get his voicemail message, I can't actually leave a message. Hopefully he'll get it soon and call me on Skype. I'm leaving that on overnight.
No clue how I'm getting to work tomorrow. I'm just glad to know I'm opening. ><;
[EDIT: Looks like Jim's not mad. "I'll be there to let you in. Sorry to hear about the bag. What a world. The riot thing is beyond me." Thank goodness.
So, is there any chance the guy who swiped my bag did so for the gracious purpose of finding identification in it and calling to return it to the person they thought lost it?]
