*bangs my head on my desk trying to find the official information on the soundtrack for the original Ghost in the Shell movie*

Someone should make a goo 音楽 search engine for Firefox...

What the hell? I just started playing said soundtrack in Winamp, and apparently the bonus track is some Chinese pop song. Is this actually the soundtrack for a Chinese dub of the movie? And if it is, what they hell were they thinking using a song like this?!

[EDIT: Found what I was looking for. And it turns out random Chinese pop song is real. Now if only I knew how to romanize 毎天見一見. And since I don't even know what dialect it is, I wouldn't know who to ask for help. Although I suppose since the movie takes place in Hong Kong (I think?) it would be whatever they speak there.]

if it's mandarin, which is 50/50 if it's hong kong, it's mei3tian1 jian4yi1jian4.

The bonus song is the song playing in the market when the Ghost Hacked garbage man is being pursu... chased by Bato. It is in cantonese, and she is singing about being happy and how everything is all sunshine and lollypops.

I think one of the lines sounds like ting ting neuolli.

I listened to that sound track about 1,106 times in 1998-2000. I also lived in those years in an apt that had no tv reception and only watched bootleg VHS animes for a year.

Yeah thats right we used to record animes in real time back in the day.
