Just saw Kung-Fu Panda with my parents. It was funny, and hokey, and not too bad. Loved the opening sequence's animation. Felt very Genndy Tartakovsky, with some Mononoke (not Princess) thrown in. However, the rest of the movie really rubbed in that, for whatever reason, maybe just that I'm not used to it, I really don't care for the majority of 3D animation. Like, it can really get on my nerves. And of course that's where 95% of American animation is going these days, too. :-/
Speaking of of Mononoke, I liked the first ep. of the new arc. I mean, I've been liking Mononoke so far in general, but it's very... draining. Ep. 8 felt a bit lighter, like having a breather. I also loved ep. 8 of Moyashimon. Like, normally that kind of random lesbian one-night stand would have totally thrown me off the bandwagon, but somehow I loved it. And there was just generally much craziness. (Sorry, I actually can't remember the episode that well anymore. ^^;) I'm also liking coming to discover that the main character (I'm terrible with names) is not a character we've really seen before. I dunno, I know I'm not making any sense... ^^; Aaaanyways, seeing as I'm utterly incoherent tonight, I'm gunna go.

It totally threw me on the bandwagon, as a matter of fact.
