Something I've realized. Part of why I come out with such funky results when I attempt to scan Shakespeare's work is that I'm so used to Japanese pitch accent that I confused the pitch I use to say English phrases with actual English stress. It's actually a hard habit to pull myself out of, actually.
I'm also continuing to procrastinate to no end on this costuming part of the MND assignment where I have to figure out costumes for six characters using magazines and the like around the house. Unfortunately we have no such magazines, so I'll have to use Google, but I'm still resentful of being forced to use the right side of my brain. I'm just trying to remind myself that this is probably the same frustration experienced by more creative folk when they have trouble with math or science.
Cute dress.
Is it just me, or is その道化師に涙のメイクは要らない (That clown doesn't need tear makeup) just about the most hilariously dramatic and cliche song title ever?
