From a. The child must choose between German nationality and the nationality of his/her parents before he/she turns 23 years of age, unless it is legalFrom the website for the U.S. Embassy in Germany:ly impossible for him/her to give up his/her parents' nationality, in which case he/she must apply to the German authorities for dual nationality before turning 21.

I lose my German citizenship in under three months.

That makes me feel like crap.

d. An American-German dual national is not exempt from German military service simply because he is also has U.S. citizenship. However, service in the German military, at least under these limited circumstances, has no effect on his U.S. citizenship.
Whoops. ^^;

[EDIT: Apparently I fail at reading: "2. A child born to an American parent and a German parent acquires both American and German citizenship at birth, regardless of place of birth, if the parents satisfy the jus soli or jus sanguinis requirements of their respective countries. See the sections above entitled, "Basic Primer on American Citizenship Law," and "Basic Primer on German Citizenship Law." Neither country requires a person born under these circumstances to choose between American and German citizenship, i.e., he/she may keep both citizenships his/her entire life."
I kind of want to do my service, though, although I'd do the social service rather than military. 'course, I don't know if I'd be of any use with my shitty German skills.]

[EDIT 2:

Somehow the total mismatch makes me laugh.

OMG!!!!!!!

And one more:

Ugh, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything more horrifying in my life:

Normally it doesn't bother me, but can you lj-cut all the vids? Thanks.

Because while I think leaving 1 out of a cut would be acceptable, leaving 4 outside of a cut not only makes the page take longer to load, but also doubles the length of my flist.

Ah, page load time makes a good point.
I don't see why the actual length matters... Different strokes, I suppose.

Fritzy did this once and everyone screamed at her. Indeed, this chokes people's internets.

Your decent English and Japanese skills might prove of some use to der Vaterland. Just make sure to actually show up.

I love the voice for the LS one! And my god, that young man (I ain't watched, but that's Lelouch, amirite?) is a whole lot of manservice.

I think I'm posting Hostgelion on mine. You are an Internet Superhero for posting this.

Also, re video 4:

That is indeed Lelouch, although I'm not positive that that's his real seiyuu.
And yes, manservice indeed. That's what you get from CLAMP character designs. Of course, there's plenty of female fanservice in the show. It's kind of overkill, actually...
