Seiyuu Adventures: Ogata Megumi

Woah... I knew I recognized Eagle's voice. Ogata Megumi. A.K.A.:
- Shinji Ikari from Evangelion
- Izumi Rio from Full Moon wo Sagashite
- Akito Hayama from Kodocha
- Princess Emeraude (!) from Magic Knight Rayearth
- Tenou Haruka from Sailor Moon
Now, I knew Ogata Megumi played Tenou Haruka, and that's where I recognized Eagle's voice from, but I totally didn't know she also played Akito Hayama. I also have to wonder if there's some plot-related reason they had the same voice play Emeraude and Eagle... Perhaps I'll find out.
Laundry's done for now. Haven't really gotten anywhere yet with cleaning my room, but at least my bed is made.
And despite the lack of an appropriate segue, Alana's gonna stay over tonight.

I know! But it seems that it's quite common for the same seiyuu to play girly men and butch women. Take Ryouko from Tenchi Muyou and Quatre from Gundam Wing, for example.

I'm clearly too otaku at this point, that would have bothered me once.

And explain to me how Ryoko's butch? She's not unfeminine just because she's aggressive, there's a little more to it than that.

I was actually trying to figure out a better word as I was writing that, but the only other words I was coming up with were "masculine", "manly", etc., which are really no better. Plus, I figured you would somehow see through my poor wording.
