tsukikageI just got a random check for $25 (CDN) from the University of Manitoba. Zero explanation. O.o
I called the U of MB's Revenue Capital & General Accounting's phone number, since that's where it was addressed from, and the woman I talked to said she'd look into it and call me back. I have to admit I kind of hope they'll let me cash it. ^_^;

yumenohoshi to the pseudo-adopted-sister of an old UMTYMP friend, since I thought she'd enjoy it more. I have to admit it was still hard for me to give away, being the collector I am, but there's no point in only collecting part of a series, and I really don't want physical copies of the entire series. I also gave her my Cowboy Bebop bootleg DVDs.
Alana's getting paid to clean the basement. And the best part? Since she's getting paid to do it, I don't have to feel guilty for not helping. ;)
Got a lot of work done at work today. Yesterday I bagged about 6 trays of rice krispie bars in 7 hours, and in the 6 hours I worked today I bagged 9 trays of rice krispie bars, 4 trays of cookies, and helped out at Chick-fil-A. (I learned how to fry fries - whee! And yes, I am slightly sarcastic, but I do love the feeling of gaining new competencies at work.) Joe asked me to come in tomorrow from 10-2 too. So much monies this week!! I know I shouldn't get my hopes up, but I hope this becomes a regular thing. I think not, though, as apparently we're getting bigger crowds because of freshman orientation, which I don't think is lasting longer than a week.
Ah, I just got a call back from the U of MB, and apparently they re-assessed their application fees or something, and I got $25 credit on the $60 application fee I paid them in '03. MONEY! Although now that I think of it, I wonder if my dad actually paid that, in which case it's really his money. I'll ask him about that when he gets home.
Aaaanyways, I need to clean and do laundry now. Jaa!
