Went to the Mall of America to take my iPod to the Apple Store today, and somehow it started working properly just by hooking it up to the store's computer. O.o But at least it did its restart cycle thing before that so as to not make a complete fool out of me. I also stopped into the Aveda store to see if they had anything to help cover up my scars and blackheads. The system they recommended to me would cost about $20 a month, which is more than I'm willing to spend on make-up, but I had them recommend a second "economy regimen" which is more like $10 a month. (Amusing bit - the guy who was working there says he gets a $70 facial every 6-8 weeks - for serious?!)I'm actually wearing some concealer and foundation they put on for me, and I have to say it did a pretty good job, especially from a bit of a distance. Looking closely in a mirror, though, you can definitely tell there's some crap on my face. Make up was never designed specifically for up-close viewing, was it? I mean, it's not as bad as I make it sound, but for someone who's used to never putting more than a bit of moisturizer on my face, it's weird.
Anyways, I took a picture of my face to upload later after I've taken it off and taken a "before" picture. These self-taken photographs look a bit like mug shots, though. ^^;
[EDIT: Ugh, yay for waiting for 30 GB of mp3s, podcasts, and video files to transfer...]
[EDIT 2: I'm not particularly familiar with Naruto, but is it just me or does Shikamaru look a bit like Sokka?]
