As excuses go, the no sunglasses one isn't too bad, is it?

I know I should be outside enjoying the wonderful weather, but I don't have any sunglasses and the lawn is covered in pointy dandelions, so... I'll be staying inside reading with both windows open, I guess. I did consider inviting someone to go to Grand Old Day with me since I found out it was today, but I don't really have much money and there isn't much to just look at there, unlike Highland Fest...
Hanging out with darkjing yesterday was fun. Got through eps. 31-36 of Eureka seveN and 6-9 of Princess Tutu. Much joking about Fakir/Mytho subtext was had. ^_^ I'll have to watch the actor (?) commentaries today, methinks. John's already making plans to make me watch some other series (Mai Hime/Otome and some of the .hack series?), but I'm making him wait until I've gotten through some of the other series I'm working on. I also saw Iron Man with him, his mom, and her boyfriend. That movie was surprisingly good. :) Although they made the "oh noes, hitting the ground at high speeds is dangerous; therefore, let me catch the other person/move myself in a non-ground with just as insane an amount of acceleration" fallacy a few times. So yeah, good times.
So, Alex and Vinny, you wanna let me know when your schedules are open for the next two weeks so we can make Fushigi Yuugi plans? Or I suppose Vinny's the one I should be more concerned about, since your schedule is pretty set, right, Alex?

P.S. Almost forgot. I'll embed it when it shows up on YouTube, but the MONKEY MAJIK PV for "goin' places" is kind of... amusing. With a touch of crack. Basically a houkago scene with lots of people doing sports or band practice while explosions and fire go on around them, and this one girl in her school uniform running with a bottle in her hand, and in the end she hands a bottle of Pocari Sweat to someone who's probably a track runner, and probably the guy she likes, and he smiles, and she smiles, and the end. Very Japanese. ^_^; Oh, and the school has signs saying 自学　克己　友愛 (self-learning, self-command, fellowship) on them.

P.P.S. *drools profusely* Oooh, perhaps I can has....
Anyways, I think I'll go outside after all.

[EDIT: It's weird to think that this feature of mine that I hold unfounded pride in, and actually consider to be a positive cosmetic feature, once looked like this, and could have cost me my life had I been born in a less advanced time or country.
I really want to start doing some kind of volunteer work with cleft children. I should stop putting that off... But I think I might start donating $5/mo. to this.]

I'm free Friday all day, in the evening on Saturday and in the afternoon and evening Sunday. I could conceivably do it Thursday night as well, since I don't have to get up in the morning, but I'd be much more tired. I also wouldn't want to go late on Sunday, for the same reason, that I have to get up at 6 the next morning. Especially considering that Monday I work both jobs consecutively, bout 13 hours total. Owie.
