Failing at 袱紗ばさみ?
May. 26th, 2008 11:56 pmUmm, I think my fukusabasami... isn't. :-/ It's way too thin, like thick paper, and I can't imagine trying to put much in it without it tearing. I mean, I knew it was a cheap one, but yeah...
Besides my lost fukusa, my chakin seems to have run away on me as well. I'm also considering how I could use to get me a chasen shaper. After that all I really want is a tea strainer to get rid of the static that makes the tea clump together, and from then on I'm fine just improvising a kensui, okashi tray, tetsubin, and mizusashi (although I don't think I should be attempting to practice the usucha-demae on my own anyway).
But I needs me a fukusa and chakin!!
[EDIT: I'll be going through to date and tag the pictures tomorrow, but my San Francisco photo gallery is up.
