tsukikageSoooo, I'll be working 7 am to 11 pm next Thursday, and at $1.50 over my usual pay for half of the day.
Long day will be long. But I'm glad for the income.
After failing to renew my U-Pass last week, I tried again today and it worked - yay!
Okay, call me thick, but I was totally not expecting Franz to be in that suit. I thought he was leaving on another trip to do more research or something. So as soon as I saw Albert still sleeping, my jaw totally dropped. I didn't actually cry when Franz died, but it was really sad, never mind shocking.
That said, the whole mech thing didn't work for me. Like, it worked better than I was expecting, since I thought they were going to pull some unexpected!Gundam on us. So the whole armored duel thing was okay with me. However, I have no clue how mechs that move so awkwardly as they clearly did when they were going through their little pre-duel dance could actually be used for sword fighting. Also, the CG was done really tackily in my mind. I mean, doing it in a way that would stand out in series with less... crazy... visuals is okay, but it still managed to stick out like a sore thumb here.
Two hour Grey's finale today, and I actually get to watch it!
P.S. Today I discovered that they put sugar on the raisins in Raisin Bran. Now, I'll be honest with myself and admit that I like sugar, so I might like Raisin Bran slightly less if it didn't have sugar on it, I don't know. But that doesn't mean that I want them putting sugar on my Raisin Bran! I'm sure I'd still love it if it didn't have the sugar, and as long as that's the case, why add it? I mean, doesn't it have enough fructose for us?
Now, I'd move on from this by saying I should just buy my own bran flakes and add my own raisins, but I actually usually eat Special K with Red Berries (a.k.a. strawberries) myself. And yes, I know they add sugar to those flakes. ^_^;
P.P.S. The weather in S.F. looks none-to-impressive this weekend. ^_^;
