I slept for 10 hours last night, woke up refreshed and ready to go to classes on time, only with an eye ache which I was willing to put up with and queasiness which I was not, so I went back to bed with a hot washcloth on my eye until my stomach decided it was ready to get rid of whatever was bothering it, at which point it was too late to go to classes. At that point the eye was still hurting, so I took two Aspirin on an empty stomach, and laid down for a bit longer of a nap, which my stomach didn't like when I woke up. In the end I got about 16 hours of sleep... (My eye still isn't totally back to normal.)
Been working on homework since I got up.

And with that, back to work.
P.S. We got a call from Quest today that they'll be turning off the land line before 5 PM on Thursday.

Date: 2008-04-22 11:07 pm (UTC)In 1b, I have my tDP as the specifier of the last VP, not the complement of fired. I don't remember why we agreed that this was the answer, but we discussed it and we did. I hope we're not wrong.
In 1c, you should add that Bill, as a subject, originates in the specifier of the next VP down.
In 1f, remember that from tV drops the -ed passive suffix (-en if you assume that's underlying/don't like to confuse yourself) down to expected; otherwise it'd be expect.
