Still procrastinating on the お茶会 post.

tsukikagew007, first draft of my Natural Selection Exercise Paper is done! Only took me, what, 9 hours for 5 pages plus two graphs and one table? ><; Unfortunately, since the rough draft was due two weeks ago I won't be able to get this peer reviewed, but it's not due until Thursday at 2:30, so that should be plenty of time to revise it on my own. The only question is whether I will. ^^; Anyways, now to actually move on to other homework rather than letting the rest of the evening fall into laziness.
So, I never talked about this when I first listened to it, but I have to say there's something that really turns me on (in a metaphorical sense) about a 40-ish British woman otaku academic, such as Helen McCarthy, who was interviewed on the last episode of Anime World Order. (Seriously, download and listen to that episode!) Honestly, from what little I know of her, that's the kind of person I want to grow up to be. Anyways, AWO may be a rarely released podcast, but I may actually love it more than Anime Pulse, and that's saying something.
God, I need to get myself to next year's Schoolgirls and Mobilesuits. And I need to buy Ms. McCarthy's books. ^_^;
And speaking of Anime Pulse, Ichigo and Batou in cat ears = <3. And believe me, they're not the cat-ear types.
Ugh, I just discovered that I closed my thermos cap really well, and at an angle making it damn near impossible to open. After asking my dad to try opening it, he said it might be a goner. I hope not. :( At least it's open enough to let me drink the rest of the tea that's already in it.
[EDIT: I got my thermos open! *closes it again more carefully*]
[EDIT 2: I just heard the term "manga cows" to refer to people who read manga IN the bookstores. *laughs*]
[EDIT 3: ♥ to Xochitl for answering the TESL survey so well for me so I can write my paper for that class. *gets to work on compiling the survey answers into a reasonable format to e-mail to my T.A.*]
