Yeah, that 7.5 hour shift I was told I could have this afternoon?
About an hour e-mail an e-mail arrived saying that there were less people attending than originally thought, and the shift got struck.
This two days after offering to go home 5 hours early from a 6 hour shift because there were too many people scheduled, and someone was going to be sent home anyway.
Stop taking away my hours!!
I've listened to HEART STATION in it's entirety about twice, and the new songs about three times. I really love Fight The Blues (well, this isn't totally new to me, as I've had a bad radio rip for about two weeks now), Prisoner Of Love, and テイク 5, although I don't like the placement of テイク 5. Not sure about Celebrate or 虹色バス yet, although I think they're growing on me. Listening to some other stuff now so I don't get sick of it.
MLC went well, although I didn't get all that much from observing in the end. Well, I should say that I didn't really learn any new techniques. It seemed a lot more similar to how my classes go than I remembered, so it gave me a tad more confidence, and I think I did absorb a few small things. I should use my extra time tomorrow to plan a good lesson. :) I will say one thing - it didn't do my "diet" any good: three frosted cookies and a chocolate covered pretzel. ^_^; I'm glad I'm not taking this thing too seriously.
Guess I'll just have to make extra sure to go swimming tomorrow.
On a random note, apparently they're making a Fuyu no Sonata/Winter Sonata/however you say it in Korean anime. Should be interesting...
And a bit of annoyance: for some reason although I can add lyrics to the HEART STATION mp3s and read them from within iTunes, when I try to view them from my iPod all I get is the title at the top of the screen and then a blank space beneath. What's going on?
Maybe I'll try re-ripping the songs when my CD arrives.
[EDIT: Shoot... I have no idea where my Kanzen Master 2kyuu grammar book went, and I really don't feel like re-buying it. I bet you stole it! *points accusingly at no-one in particular* Seriously, though, where in the world did it go? I can't remember ever having taken it anywhere with me.
I'm also really happy to find out that the the DVD I burned the first half of the Nodame dorama on is... blank. And I deleted the originals, of course. *hopes me computer is just being a little shit and that the files are still on the disc, rather than me having thrown away the wrong disc thinking it was a coaster or something*]
