More Pi Day

Sooo... I was thinking of doing Pi Day on Saturday, and then I realized I have tutor training/work all day that day, so what about Sunday the 16th?

And I thought Loveless was creepy.

Loveless is hilariously bad and rather pretty. That...is just creepy.

Yeah, I've been withholding any true judgment on Loveless until I actually see it, but what I've heard makes it sound a bit disturbing. But yes, it also looked very pretty.
In what ways is it hilariously bad?
Oh, also... I was wondering if maybe you'd want to go out for a bite to eat or something over your or my spring break.

That's seriously fucked up.

I'm ten episodes in to Loveless right now. It has its moments, but it also has large segments of fail and AIDS. I frankly kind of wonder if they have any idea where they're going with it. It helps, however, that Ritsuka's voice actor makes him sound sexy as hell for a, like, preteen. And the yuri shows up in the last third.

It plays on just about every bit of melodrama and manga stereotype possible, catboys aplenty, random chains for angst value, etc. Oh god the melodrama. And not really as creepy as it sounds, especially since I don't think the relationship with the underaged catboy every goes anywhere physically. It's like...the writer isn't setting up creepy-ish situations to be pervy - just to capitalize on as much angst as possible.

Food's always good. I don't actually have a spring break...but lemme know when you're up for stuff, 'cause I haven't seen you in forever.

To be fair, I saw you at your gradumatation party, but with how much I suck at group interaction that wasn't saying much.
Well, my spring break is this next week, and I'm available Sunday whenever I'm not doing Pi Day things, Monday through Wedenesday after 4, Friday before 2:30 or after 7, Saturday after 2:30, or Sunday before 4.

Oh, and I don't know if there's a major difference, but I'm talking the Loveless manga, not the anime. Is very pretty for oggling, and very funny for writing/angst quality.

We used the manga when I was in high school to weird poor Mary Armstrong on our math team, by having her guess Ritsuka's gender and stuff. Much lulz ensued.
