I think my "native speaker intuitions" are broken.
Makes it kind of hard to be a linguist. Or at least a beginning linguistics student not yet working with corpora or data on other's grammaticality judgments.
The short night and long day has definitely caught up to me. I can't wait to go to bed tonight. ><; At least I'm going to start closing in 12 minutes, but I'm still 3 hours away from home.
Wish I would have realized how low my speaker's batteries were before putting them in my bag this morning. It's fine at low volumes, such as he volume I have it at when I'm studying at my desk, but I definitely won't be able to turn it to the volume I'd prefer when closing, or else it'll sound horrible. Maybe I'll just wear headphones, despite the hassle of them. (Strange thing... As I was walking from Northrop to Coffman today with my headphones in and my iPod playing... The left earbud kept giving me tiny static shocks every second or so, and the right ear did so maybe every 10 or 15 seconds. It didn't hurt much, but it hurt enough that I decided I wasn't in the mood to just put up with it and pulled out the left earbud.)
