tsukikageBattling with tree structure drawing programs at 1 in the morning, apparently. Like, I thought one of the programs I downloaded last week would work once I no longer needed non-binary structures, but they still use the old standard of drawing branches between the label for the terminal nodes and the words themselves, so I have to edit all the trees either way, so I might as well just use phpSyntaxTree... And then this Linguistic Tree Constructor program requires me to feed it a .txt file with the sentence I'm drawing the tree for first? WTF is that?
Somehow I'm finding it really hard to not use DPs when making X-bar trees... Like, I can do it just fine with the old, flat rules, but this whole NP -> D N' thing has started to throw me off since reading chapter 7.
Someone should tell me what I think of Hirai Ken's "Cry & Smile!!", because I can seem to figure it out for myself. I will say that I don't like the 君はス・テ・キ PV... He's so... flashy?... in that video? And I'm actually not referring to the actual shiny flashes going on, although maybe that adds to it. There's just too much of the "look at me in my sexy black outfit" thing going on. Dunno how to explain it.
Hikki's outfit is funny in her Feb. 28th Utaban performance. I mean, in a way it's very her, but maybe it's the necklace that makes it seem strange?
Something about AKFG's 新しい世界 PV is throwing me off, too. Like, it's really confusing me, or something. You know what, though? The animation kind of reminds me of the few episodes of Zetsubou Sensei I've seen. (I need to catch up in that series.)
I'm just full of nitpicks tonight.

And the million dollar question: who's weirder: Otsuka Ai or YUKI?
*can't decide whether "of any country" is actually a PP, and can't figure out how free genetives work syntactically from my google search* *decides I don't really care and treats it as a PP anyway, hoping this is right*
You know what pisses me off about Bluebird's Illusion (the FMA game)? Why the hell should we respect the company who made an unlicensed game's request to not share the game over P2P or whatever? Esp. since we don't grant the same request to makers of offical games/series. I want to play Bluebird's Illusion, dammit!
