random thought on the emotional/academic connection

Not to shirk myself of responsibility for my own actions and lack thereof, but I'm curious how much having had just broken up with my boyfriend of 3.5 years had to do with the Spring of 06 being one of my bomb semesters. I can't remember that time very well, but I know I was really heartbroken (as well as in a bit of denial, I think).
Totally slept through the majority of bio lec today. (As in, I was present, but sleeping in my seat.) At least I completed the homework which ended up being the answers to in-class quiz, which didn't have the questions on it.
Forgot my fukusa at home at the last minute again, which is really bad since all five of us are going to be performing at once, making it hard to steal someone else's. Maybe there'll be an extra men's fukusa laying around I can use.

I don't think that it is shirking any of your problems by it down as part of the problem. Breaking up with someone (especially if you've dated for a significant amount of time) can be very hard. A part of you that you'd come to rely on has suddenly disappeared.

Maybe you took in information via your slumbers ;-)
