The Japanese Samurai Champloo DVDs are 2 episodes on each disc at 6,090 yen, tax included.
Will the wonders ever cease to amaze me?
$30 an episode. $750 for a 26 episode series.
WTF.

Submitted the application for the Mori no Ike village weekend.

Been arguing with my dad over whether I've been eating more than one bowl of Grape Nuts a day. ^^; He's annoyed because it's gone before he gets to have a second bowl, but I'm honestly not having two bowls a day. I think I just fill the bowl higher than he does or something...

Try microwaving it with 2% milk in it so the milk sinks in. Makes it far more filling. I'm full after like one or tops two bowls, and you know I eat like a horse. Just remember to add milk again afterwards so it's not dry, and adding some fresh fruit will help with that too.

And seriously, $750? No wonder people pirate. I thought $250 or so for all of Utena was out of line.

I might try that. :) Like, at first I was all "microwave my cereal?!", and then I realized with Grape Nuts it might not be too bad.
And as I said, those prices are in Japan, so it doesn't explain pirating in the U.S. Unless Bandai Visual has their way.
