Okay, guys, it's down to two names for Mori no Ike: 奈月 (Natsuki) or 美月 (Mizuki). Which do you like better? Visually I kind of feel like 奈月 is a bit... unbalanced... but maybe that's just because I'm not used to it. (I rejected 菜月 because I don't care to be associated with vegetables, and 七月 because I'm not born in July.) I'm kind of leaning towards Natsuki, though, since it has the "na" in common with Nastassja. Don't know how I'm gonna pick a German name, though. Can't I just use Nastassja? :(

Called my mom but no-one answered so I left a message.

Man, sometimes my inferiority complex just eats me alive... Apparently Mitcho got his B.A. and M.A. at the same time, 4 years after graduating from high school. Like... That's the kind of person I wish I was, and yet I have these people right in front of me.

Haven't heard anything back from Guy Healy, Japan yet. I was thinking about e-mailng them tomorrow, but maybe it's better for me not to be too forward about this until the financial aid situation is clear?

He taught me at Mori no Ike, back when we were teenagers. XD

Nowadays we're coworkers. He's probably going to be my boss one of these summers.

No, I did not; I myself attended high school in Alabama, and know Mitcho from summer programs.
