Fucking ambiguous sentences. I mean, you're a linguist, Mr. Carnie - you should know better than this!
Well, I think I figured out how to parse this sentence properly:
"When there is an NP that contains (an anaphor and an NP marked with ‘s), that NP seems to function as a binding domain."

[EDIT: 1:07 AM, and I'm done with my syntax homework for Thursday. :) I hope to polish it up a bit before then, as I can't say I worded things wonderfully in all parts.
If any of you linguistic-y folk are feeling particularly generous, I have the homework assignment uploaded here.

You aware of the linguistics study group (all classes) that meets in Nolte on Tu and Th 4-6? They're gonna have cheesecake today, and you'd be able to confer with the other syntax people. I'm sure they'd like to know you're still alive, in any case. Start coming to class, noob.
