So no, it's really not that bad.

I'm using phpSyntaxTree to draw syntactic trees, which requires you to enter your tree first in bracketed notation, and as I type it I keep on trying to figure out how to turn on paren matching. Seriously, after a semester of having it, it's really, really, really hard to go back. Not that I would have wanted to start without it, but I still feel like it's slightly more frustrating that it would be if I had never had paren matching.
One other problem with this program is that it draws branches between the terminal node and the terminal node label, which Prof. Soh specifically told us is considered incorrect these days, so I'll have to edit the trees I produce a bit in MS Paint so I don't get docked for that.
