Indonesian Child Dies After Reportedly Imitating Anime: Politician calls for stricter monitoring of television programs
My thought? It's only one kid, and in the end... How to word this...
Kids need to be taught that TV isn't real, and that you shouldn't imitate everything you see.
It's not Naruto's fault.

My computer's really worrying me... But at least my room's clean.

Well, that part of the world has generally had pretty strict TV censorship limitations, so it's not surprising that this is their preferred solution.

Frankly, as far as I'm concerned, anyone who watches Naruto and thinks it's cool enough to imitate is clearly an idiot; therefore, the fact that one of them managed to accidentally kill himself is probably more a result of said idiocy and failure than any reflection on the contents of television.

That was pretty much my thoughts, but I was trying to state in in a less cruel way - I feel bad granting a Darwin Award to a child
But I didn't know that Indonesia was more strict about that stuff.

Yeah, I believe it's much the same story in Malaysia and Singapore. They're pretty conservative cultures.
