tsukikageI got an e-mail from catering on Friday at 5:40 looking to fill some shifts, and I offered to take the one for tomorrow at 10:30 am. It's 10:09 the night before, and I still haven't gotten an e-mail back about whether I got that shift or not.
So what now? Do I just show up in case they marked me down for the shift? I'm not too keen on that idea.
Normally I got an e-mail reply back either way, so this is really... annoying.
But the good thing is, if I do work I got Katie to help me fix my three pairs of black dress pants, so now I won't get yelled at for wearing black jeans to catering jobs. I even learned how to sew on buttons with a strong stitch, so after she taught me by fixing one pair where the button had broken off, I removed the buttons on my other two pairs, which had gotten loose, and re-attached them with this stitch. Yay!
