white women + kimono = blah
Jan. 18th, 2008 05:07 pmWhite people just don't look good in kimono, and that makes me sad. :( *wants to look pretty in a kimono*
Going to Midori's Floating World Cafe for dinner. The menu looks good, and they have an amazing selection of teas, so I hope I enjoy it.
My headache still doesn't want to go away.
Finally, in an ep. of HikaGo I was watching today... There was one scene where Kimihiro had this really serious, kind of scared look on his face, yet his (English) voice was done in a very hopeful voice. It was weird. I flipped over to the Japanese audio track to compare, and for as much as I can interpret Japanese tones of voice, he def. didn't sound happy, although I'm not entirely sure his voice was as worried as his face looked.
As I said the first time I watched this series, Sai = Spaz. I need to learn how to make animated .gif icons, because I found one that would work perfectly.
[EDIT: I just got home from dinner, and the saikoro-donburi (diced raw tuna & salmon, cooked shrimp and egg, avocado and veggies w/special sauce) was abso-frickin-lutely delicious. :) :) :) I also got some ume onigiri for takeout, but got it for free since the waitress forgot about it. Will be having that for lunch tomorrow as I head out to Katie's.
Now to fold clothes.]
[EDIT 2: I'm pretty sure I left my wallet at the dentist today, and they're not open over the weekend - maybe not Monday, either. Joy. *continues to keep my eyes peeled*]
