Muslim sportswear

I've always wondered how Muslim women exercise or go swimming - do they have special women-only hours at sports centers in communities with high Muslim populations?
Well, my dad thinks this is all very silly, but I think it's really cool: Muslim swimsuits and other sportswear.

Actually, although I think the sunglasses are horrid, and I'd have no need of the head covering, I like this swimsuit.

I do believe that, additionally, some places *do* have special women-only hours, for just the reason you mention. It is not just Muslims who benefit, of course, but modest Christian women, and, I do believe, Orthodox Jewish women as well.

No need of the head covering? Aren't you always dealing with hair-washing issues after pools?

Hair-washing issues? I mean, yes, I have to take a shower after I go swimming, and taking showers involves washing my hair, but just keeping my hair dry wouldn't change that, assuming that thing does keep your hair dry. Besides, I have my swim cap.

If your hair doesn't get wet, though, why wash it after you swim? Just wash yourself from the neck down, it'll save you all sorts of time.

I've never tried to do that... *decides to give it a try* The other thing is, I don't think either my swim cap nor these head coverings would ACTUALLY keep your hair chlorine-free.
