I've had enough of these creepy guys!
Dec. 20th, 2007 02:04 pmFunny story.
I got to Barnes and Noble, and apparently the default for Paprika was Blu-Ray, so that's what was waiting for me when I picked up my movie.
Luckily they had a regular DVD copy available, so I still was able to bring it home today.
Creepy guy on the bus wanting to "get to know me better", and apparently turning his already strange discussion on dogs into a hint that he wanted to do some not PG-13 things. Some days...
I decided not to buy any holiday cards, even though there were some really nice ones, beacause, you know what, I don't really have the money... So I'll just stick with the decent stationary I already have, even if it is incredibly bland for New Years card purposes (it's just lilac-colored with scalloping on top).
Well, even though I really want to watch Paprika now, I'm gonna go watch Jin-Roh so I can return it to
eurohybrid62 tomorrow. Hopefully I wont fall asleep. (No, not because of the movie - because I'm already really tired.)
Failed DVD burn FTL.
Oh yeah - I met a friend of mine from junior high today at the ADCS office. I had some kind of vague sense that I recognized her, but totally dismissed it, and then she asked if I went to Highland. We were actually on the soccer team together and took the same bus. Seriously, though, even after knowing exactly who she was, I still didn't recognize her. I mean, maybe she's just changed that much since then, but sometimes I'm amazed at others' ability to recognize people.
I also ran across Sergey, but couldn't hang out with him since he was on his way to a final. :(
