I mean this quite honestly:
As far as I know them through listening to their podcasts, I would love to date someone like these guys.
They're otaku, they're smart, they've studied a lot of Japanese (they pay attention to the kanji used in series names, even), they're not absolutist, at least one of them has studied martial arts for a number of years and understands and cares about the uniqueness of the different arts (once they were talking about the differences between these arts, such as kendou vs. kenjutsu - if I remember right kenjutsu is more about learning how to kill), they understand the value of life outside anime (including things like going to concerts and ballet).
Well-rounded otaku who's studied Japanese. Mmmm...
(They're also funny and one of them's pretty cute. ^_^)
*sighs* I need to wrap up my post-insanity break and move into the next round of insanity. Which shall be so much easier now that I have my computer. :)
I finally got moving on registering with disability services, and have an appointment at 1 on Tuesday, but I'm having a little trouble taking care of the release of information forms in time to get the documentation to disability services before my appointment.
Tee hee. 日本語でScheme。 :)
[EDIT: For some reason, I've been all squishy-boweled and bordering diarrhea-ey for most of the afternoon. I mean, I am drinking tea, and that sometimes gets me a bit funky-boweled, esp. when I'm on a more empty stomach, but it started even before I made the tea. I almost wonder if its the beginning of some kind of bug, but I'll probably be okay.]
