Bwah. I was hoping I'd have cooler songs playing (not that those songs aren't cool, but more songs that no-one's heard of).

Added some new communities to my friends list today: mormon and thetruechurch. The first is, obviously, a Mormon community, and the second a forum for discusses the differences between Catholocism and Mormonism. I'm not either (well, I'm kind of a Catholic, but that's another story), but I find the diversity of religion to be fascinating. I try to, and I think I'm good at, respecting other's religions and learning about them in a critical manner. I find myself uncomfortable with what I have heard of women's (and men's) roles in Mormonism, so instead of criticizing the religion, I seek to learn more about it.

I talked with Pat for a little bit last night, and I finally got him to agree to not mentioning math team to me. He was saying that it's really important to him and that I'm one of the only one of his friends who actually UNDERSTANDS math team. Well guess what. That's WHY I don't want you talking to me about it. I KNOW what it is I'm missing, and it HURTS. [To any other mathletes reading this, this applies to you too. Don't mention it around me...]
