two more bits I need help with

自分とあのビル街とのあいだの、長い道のりのことを思った。歩いたら三十分、いや四十分はかかるだろう。けれど浩行はふと、俺が今、ここからあのビル街まで歩いたとしても、別にどうということはないんだな、と考えたりした。
Two more bits I'm having trouble with... Namely the underlined. (I just love Japanese's grammatical clusters... Makes me feel like I'm untangling cables, only once I finally get them untangled it turns out to be a slightly idiomatic phrase or something...)

Seriously, every time I try to post to japanese, I forget to change the journal to which I'm posting. ^_^; But this time I decided to leave the post for amusements sake.
