Thanksgiving plans

tsukikageMom invited me to go to a hotel with them on Thanksgiving. Rob and Reiko are going to be there too, so hopefully I'll finally be able to spend some time really talking with them in Japanese, since every time I've spent any sort of real time with them and they tried to talk to me in Japanese I was too embarrassed to, since I was only in first and second year and I felt my Japanese wasn't good enough for real conversation. (Especially back then it wasn't really about making errors, since I had pretty much mastered all the grammar I knew until that point anyway.)
Anyways, this is really good news, as I thought my mom was mad at me again.
Also, I just cut about three inches off my hair, since I realized my bun was getting rook-ish again. I know I should have gone to Great Clips or something to get it done, but I was too embarrassed to ask my dad for money for it since I cut my hair relatively recently, and my hair was already starting to get multi-lengthed (which doesn't matter so much when you have long hair), so I figured there wouldn't be a big difference between the result and if I had cut it a bit shorter than this three months ago. I'll get it properly trimmed in January when I'm working again.
