but I don't want .docx
Oct. 10th, 2007 08:11 pmFucking Word whatever-the-hell-edition-this-is won't let me insert equations unless I'm working in a .docx document, which means I might not be able to work on this file at home. WTF, Microsoft? It's not like Word 2003 can't handle equations, so even if the two equation formats aren't compatible, or whatever, that doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to insert them when working in 97-03 format.
I don't know... maybe there's something I don't understand, but I'm just pissed at having to work with a new layout, etc.
[EDIT: "E-mail more" by Tommy february6? Ouch... To start out with, the Engrish is... really something... (lyrics here) But not enough to save how stupid the song is already. On the Anime Pulse scale? Burn it.]

Thing is... The U bought every one of us a copy of the new Office, so I'm kind of considering installing it just to bring things up to date, and so I can use the handful of new features they added (non-image equation insertion), but hopefully the sane side of me will win out.
