I got home at about 10:15 last night and ended up finally going to bed at 11:30, which wasn't bad, but I was hoping to be in bed by 10:45 or so. Ah well. The nice thing was that when I did get to bed, for the first time in a long time I was just totally ready for sleep without being exhausted. I was like "mmm, bed, pillow, g'night". In any case, I don't have class until 12:20 today, so although I originally set my alarm for 7, when it went off and I wasn't ready to get up yet I just turned it off, figuring there was no way I'd sleep so long as to miss class. In the end I got out of bed at 9, which leaves me, surprisingly enough, with 9.5 hours of sleep. Still, it wasn't like I felt 110% refreshed, and I half (three-quarters?) wanted to sleep longer, but that was the point where it didn't take much to will myself out of bed.
Classes yesterday were pretty good. The only teacher who might be uncomfortably dry for me is my old Russian lit. teacher, but he draws amusing maps. ^_^ I was going to take a picture of the one he drew to show to all of you, but when I thought he was walking in front of me while I was taking my picture, he was actually erasing it, so I can only show you a small corner of his European map. (Mind, I couldn't do any better myself.)

I also made some appointments this morning, one for a dental cleaning/exam on the 26th from 8:30-9:20, and the other for a routine physical on the 19th from 10 to whenever it ends. (Apparently physicals are scheduled for 20 minutes, but they take however long they take.) If I end up getting bloodwork or a vaccination on my birthday, I'm gonna be PISSED. Especially since I won't be able to bug my dad into doing something nice for me in the evening. *remembers how when I used to get needles my mom would take me to the little bakery on the way home and let me get a frosted cookie*
Finally, I managed to drop my camera on the ground on the way to the Comstock dining hall yesterday (man, they really did some nice re-decorating in the serving area), and it came apart a bit. Luckily I was able to pop everything back into place and it seems to be working just fine, so I guess I'll consider myself lucky.

P.S. I chipped my favorite cup. :(
