Mommy, do I have a virus?

I just sent 25 files to the recycle bin, and went to empty the recycle bin when it gives me a message "Are you sure you want to delete 'WINDOWS'?".
So I was like, that may or may not mean deleting something related to the Windows OS, but I don't want to take my chances, so I went into the recycle bin to check things out.
The recycle bin appears empty, even though it has the full bin icon, and even though I just sent 25 files to it, and even though I have the folder set to show hidden files and folders. (To be fair, it's possible that the recycle bin deleted all files except this 'WINDOWS' one.
Still... I'm worried that I may have a virus, and I'm scared as hell to delete that file.
And f.y.i, I run a full virus scan every day (at least every day that I'm not at my computer at 11 am to make it stop because I'm impatient and don't want my computer to slow down while I'm using it).
*goes off to do a google search on "are you sure you want to delete 'windows'"*
