I just found out today that my wonderful boss, Meghan, took a new job as a cake decorator at the Super Target in Edina, and her last day is tomorrow. I'm so glad I came in today rather than finding out next week. :-/ Anyways, I know where I'm getting my cakes decorated from now on. ^_^ Well, probably not, as that's a ways to go for what I can get just 5 miles from my house. Still, I'm really sad, and especially sad that I couldn't be a responsible work-attender while she was my boss. In any case, I got a permanent e-mail address from her in case I need her for references or whatever in the future.
Also, I picked up two more shifts on Friday at Jamba, amounting to a 10-3 block. (It was either that or work 8-10 on MW or TTh.) This leaves me working 12 hours a week, which is about what I wanted for this important semester.
Dental appointment in 20 minutes...
