No, the thing that always confused me about the colors is, yes, in paint terms, with reflected wavelengths, blue and yellow make green, but just adding blue and yellow wavelength light makes something else. One's addition of frequency and one's subtraction, or something...I encountered it in physics class, and what little I understood of it resolved the paradox, but mostly it was over my head.
