in which I stop being (as much of) a poop
Jul. 2nd, 2007 08:16 amHeh... I was going to go to a First Step meeting for study abroad today since I have the day off, but really I wasn't feeling much in the mood to go out. Lucky for me, they don't have meetings on Mondays. ^_^ But I also have tomorrow off, so I'm going to go to the meeting tomorrow at 2, when I'll hopefully be feeling a bit more genki.
I finally stopped being a poop and apologized to Alana, and we're going to go to the bank this evening. She asked about going out to dinner after that, but I admitted that I'm still not really up for that. I guess it just feels a little... forced. She seemed a little put out, so I asked her if she wanted to go, and she said not if I didn't want to. Fair enough, but I still feel kinda bad.
Hmmm... What to do today...
[EDIT: Rrrrgh... I was set to work about 13 hours a week next semester, but I was thinking of dropping my 7 hour theater shift on Saturday nights so I wouldn't have to get home at 2 am on Sunday mornings... Well, I just got an e-mail from Meghan saying one of my two three-hour shifts got scrapped, meaning if I dropped my theater shift I'd be down to three hours a week of work. Of course, I can look for other shifts to replace these, but I can't be sure that there will be any that actually work with my schedule.
I was going to wait one more semester to make sure I've gotten over my inability to get to work on time before I re-apply to Paradigm, but since I've been really good this summer, I wonder if I shouldn't apply for fall if (secret) falls through.]
