Shiny...

Oh my god, Doctor, you're a jerk! ^^;

And... Can my wonderful LJ friends answer a question for me? If you have a device that can be powered both by battery and AC adapter, if you have it plugged into the adapter while the batteries are still in it, will it drain the batteries as well at all? I.e., do I need to make sure to always remove the batteries if I have it plugged in, or can I just leave them in for next time I need them.

I think it depends on the stupidity of the device. Generally it will switch to ac power, and I don't think I know of any device otherwise. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Oh....and can I like....give you some of my manga in japanese? I'm trying to clean out and there's just too damn much of it. I'm sure we can work out a deal for it all.

I keep my batteries in my computer when I'm on AC power and I don't have no problems.

Yes, but you also charge your batteries BY plugging it in, for one.

Assuming it's working correctly, you should be able to leave the batteries in with the AC adapter plugged in. If anything it should charge the batteries when plugged in, not drain them.
