Yay air conditioning!
Jun. 16th, 2007 02:15 pmAir conditioning: it does the body good. :)
Although to be honest, we just installed the window AC a half hour ago, and it still hasn't cooled down my room very much, but that's to be expected. It's still nice when I stand right in front of it, though. ^_^
I got to see my wonderful cousins today. :) They're 18 months and three years right now. The 18-month-old's got a bit of that 18-month-old chubbishness on him to be sure. ^_^; I really don't get to see them enough, since whenever my parents go over to their house I'm usually busy. Of course, seing my aunt, uncle, and grandpa was really nice too. :)
Aaaaaand... I just put a pot of water on the stove to make myself some noodles for lunch, since I'm getting hungry enough that it's going to be hard to study, and I managed to not actually light the burner. For about 10 minutes. And I have a feeling that even after the gas is out of the house (we opened the windows and turned on the ceiling fan) that my dad will be too wary of me using the stove to let me start over. ^^; Darnit... Well, I guess I can still make myself a turkey and cheese sandwich. Which I think I shall do now.
[EDIT: I went ahead and asked Dad if he thought it would be okay for me to try again, and he wasn't weird about it. Another demonstration that I need to be less weird about asking about things. ^^;)
