yay for great customer service!
Jun. 11th, 2007 09:08 pmYeah, The Japan Shop definitely gets an A+ for customer service. :) I just got my package in the mail (only 5 days after I ordered it, or 3 business days, and that's with the free over-$50 shipping), and while my card cases and level 2 flash cards came in good condition, the 2006 level 1 and 2 test booklet was mangled in such a way that it made it hard to use. So, realizing it was daytime in Japan, I called their toll-free number about getting it exchanged. The owner, Clay, made sure everything else I ordered arrived safely, and said that he'd send me out a new one right away, and to send the old one to them with the cheapest method possible and they'd refund me when it arrived. I mean, it wasn't anything extra-ordinary, but there's something really pleasing about simple, honest, no-gimmicks customer service. ^_^
But I think I may look at this book a bit tonight before I take it to the post office tomorrow.
