tsukikage: (PGSM - priceless)

Marr... Last weekend I asked Ann if I could have $150 to go clothes shopping, and she said that was fine. I then told Dad that Ann had agreed, and he said it was okay too. However, I had to put off my plans by a week.
Cut to this week. I ask Dad again for some money to go clothes shopping, and he gives me $80 and tells me to bring him any change. Well... Fine. It's not quite enough money to refresh my wardrobe like I was hoping to, even if I was going to go to Target. Actually, no, I'll go out and say it: with shirts going at about $15 a piece... I'll maybe be able to buy myself one bag of underwear and socks each, one bra, and maybe three shirts. Definitely won't have enough for a pair of sandals or dress shoes. (Right now all I have is a pair of juicy tennis shoes that I also wear to work every day, and a pair of beat up dress shoes that are no longer acceptable as such. Ideally I'd like to have one pair of go-everywhere tennis shoes, one pair of closed-heel sandals, one pair of black interview-ish dress shoes, and one pair of lighter dress shoes that I can wear when I feel like dressing up.)
Ah well.

Wow, I never actually posted this... Well, it's the next day, and I have my clothes, which I may make a list of later. (Thank you again, Margaret! ^_^) I actually only spent $95, and that's including a bottle of dark detergent, a thing of deodorant for Alana (which is unfortunately also antiperspirant - she was hoping I'd find some deodorant-only for her) and four skirt hangers. I even got one of my shirts for $2 since the tag was apparently missing and the lady at the checkout counter didn't want to make me go back to check. Anyways, I'm kinda sad because I can't really wear a lot of my clothes until I get some sandals or something to wear with them. I'm thinking of asking Mom to come shopping with me next weekend (letting her know that I'll pay for the shoes - it would be incredibly rude of me to let her pay when I asked her to come with me), and we could go to Sushi Tango that same day.

Anyways, I've spent enough time not doing homework today, so I'm gonna get to that now.

P.S. Apparently Alana is taking Arabic in the fall. I mean, there are languages I'd choose to take before Arabic, but still - lucky! I can't even mooch off her textbooks since she's moving out again at the beginning of June!

Yeah, I know some people who be takin' Arabic.

BTW, I always thought it was spelled Olana, like Russian or something.
