Whee, Meguro Language Center say I know about 580-620 characters. Seems a bit high to me, but... I guess I'd believe that if it were reading only. And not in all situations. This little girl has never been terribly dillegent about learning the on an kun readings of each kanji - I've mainly just learned the compounds.

I tried it, and it said 880-920 chars... I thought I knew more, but I guess I don't.

Well, that thing isn't perfect, but I hear it usually gives a decent estimate.
