37/40 on my Definition Paper

tsukikageWow... I got full points on my definition paper! Or at least I would have had it not been late, but 37/40 ain't bad, and I still think I could have very easily gotten less than that had I turned it in as it was when it was due. Of course, just because I got full points doesn't mean the teacher didn't point out some of the serious flaws in my paper (which is a good thing), but honestly I'm not even sure that I know right now how exactly I would fix those flaws. I'm so flaky sometimes and I wonder if one of my big problems with writing papers is I never quite do know what I'm trying to say. Ever.
I'm actually waffling a bit on deciding what essay I want to analyze for the Analysis Paper. The one I was planning on doing when I checked that particular volume of Best American Essays from the library, I can't really figure out what I'd actually talk about. I was thinking about doing something with gender roles, but really there isn't enough material to work with to pull off 1250 words. Either way, I need to decide by the end of tonight so I can submit my audience and topic, which was due Friday night. ><;
Heading off to my mom's in about two-and-a-half hours. I kinda wish I had gotten more sleep last night so I'd be more awake when I go there, but I have too much work to do. :-/
Finished downloading and naming the chapter 9 audio files for Japanese, so that's good.
Oh! My Tandem partner, Murakami Tsukasa-san, and I have set up a time and place to meet on Monday. We even informed each other of what we'll be wearing so we'll be able to find each other. ^_^;
Okay, I'm gonna get back to work now.
