prescriptivism or stupidity?
Feb. 7th, 2007 06:54 pmThis is so... stupid. Basically it's a list of English mispronounciations. Now, I know I have plenty of my own "how dare language evolve" moments, especially regarding things like ask becoming aks and especially becoming ekspecially, but some of these seem to be plain wrong. The first r in February must not be pronounced as y? Parliament must be pronounced pahr-lyê-mênt?
