45 minutes standing outside in 15 below windchill = misery

Note to self:
Never again look up a late-night bus route without checking how to get there with the least time outside as possible. I actually spent 45-ish minutes waiting at my transfer point (which was very very not heated) rather than 15, and I was seriously worried my toes were going to get frostbitten. Looks like they're okay, though.
*shivers a bit*
I'm gonna go to bed now.

Don't you just love winters in Minnesota? We're equally frostbitten up here in Moorhead.

I honestly am proud of our weather, as well as many other things about Minnesota. I'm just not as happy with how well I plan and how carefully I dress.

The weather has been crazy cold lately @.@ Sar walked to work today, she took the bus to Burnsville center, but walked three miles from there to her work... it was -9 out, but the windchill was almost -30 x.x poor sar! Good thing us minnesotans are built tough, eh?

me? nah, I walk half a mile to the bus stop, I take the bus to the mall, I wait in the semi-heated frozen bus station, I take the bus for another five minutes or so, and walk two blocks o.o it's still a pain in the butt if it's cold though x.x
