chadou didn't suck today ^_^

Strangely enough... Chadou went quite well today.
It probably was more mental than anything, truth be told. It's not like I did much better at it today than before... It's just that a) before class I went up to meet with the professor, and she basically reasuured me that I'm not unreasonably behind, and b) I only performed the hakobi demae, and everyone's just beginning with that anyway, so I didn't stick out like a sore thumb. In any case, Prof. Szatrowski's comments gave me the sense that I'll do okay grade-wise, anyway.
I'd also like to say... I'm really wanting to take anything other than freshman comp. next semester. Which, I must remind myself, is half of why I'm taking it - I need to get it over with. (The other half being that it probably makes good sense to work on my worst academic pitfall (paper writing) while I'm regenerating, so that I'll at least have that much down when I start full-time in the fall.
(Although I will admit that I'm still considering consulting my Japanese teachers about maybe taking 4004 next semester, in which case that'd be instead of freshman comp.)
Anyways, I should get to studying for my test now.
[EDIT: I just spoke with Emmett-sensei (<insert comments about my suckage at on-the-spot spoken Japanese here>), and she basically said that she'd be fine with me taking 4004 and 3032 concurrently, but that her only worry is that I'd come to class properly, so I should think about that first.
I think I'll talk to my dad about this when I get home.
Also, what section are you going to be in next semester, Matt?]
