I. Hate. Cleaning.
Nov. 21st, 2006 05:59 pmDid major cleaning at Jamba today. John wanted us to be able to eat off the floors. Unfortunately, I didn't cover much ground, but at least what I did do I did relatively thoroughly. Seriously, I wish the closing crew was more worried about cleaning well than going home early, especially on Fridays. I mean, I will admit that I'm not the best either, but it's more because I'm lazy than because I want to get home quickly, and it would help me to be less lazy if everyone decided to just do our best and I wasn't the only one trying to get the place spic n' span. (Again, not that I've been a shining example of this.)
Dad's booked a reservation at a hotel in Duluth over Thanksgiving break that supposedly has a really nice waterpark. Yay! Again, just need to get lots of work done too, especially since it turns out our chapter 5 test is on Monday and the final draft of our essay is due Wednesday.
Speaking of the essay, I ended up getting a 15/17 on the rough draft. It would have been a 16/17, except apparently this year late is late (how did I miss that when reading the syllabus?), so I lost a point when I missed class on the day it was due and turned it in at the next class. Anyways, I'm gonna have a bit of trouble writing the final draft. For one thing, I'm having trouble reading the teacher's comments in parts (there was one part which I swear looked like "jouzu ku"*, but what I think is a ku is probably a ni) and also after looking over the notes once there were a lot of parts where I wasn't sure how to fix it. In any case, I'll do my best. ^_^
So, now I'm gonna go buy some chapstick (I almost wrote chopstick) and study upstairs while I wait for Tori to get off work so we can practice the bon temae tea ceremony.
Oh, shite... I was gonna go to United Noodle today and pick up some okashi as a thank you for helping me out. ><;
Oooh, I just went to look up their hours, and it seems they're opening a new location (or are they just plain moving?) in the Sears building?
Okay, I'm gonna go off and study now.
* Sorry for the lack of kanji here.
