making progress (?)

I want to clean. But can't.
The 'rents have gone to bed.
It's actually an incredibly frustrating feeling.
Oh well, I guess I have a paper to write. But guys, I have a writing desk in the making!!
Figuring out how to arrange everything is turning out to be a bitch, and I really need some book ends, but if I keep this up I might have the clean room I had at the end of my stay in 303R. If I keep this up.
*stares behind me*
I still have an amazing talent for making things way messier before they get clean.
Things I need to get:
- book ends (since my "writing desk" doesn't have any place for me to put my textbooks, I'm gonna have to put them *on* the desk)
- second chair
- shelves (?)
- some kind of permanent CD shelving unit (could very well be merged with above mentioned shelves)...
I wonder if I make significant progress in cleaning my room (as in, it's acceptably clean), if the rents will give me some money to go to IKEA and pick up some of the above. I have to say, though, this angled ceilings are seriously a pain in the butt.
Oof, I'm gonna just pick up a bit more around my desk, make a pot of tea (yay, havage of tea!!), and then get going on my Japanese paper (><;).
